The Power to Heal Your Body
by Scott Sulak, September 2001
As a Hypnotherapist, dealing with sickness and pain on a daily basis, I see
all kinds of needless suffering. I say needless because much of our
suffering is caused by holding onto fears, the past or the dreaded
anticipation of what may or may not happen. Below is a short story of
someone who let go and healed visibly…practically overnight!
Betty is 56 years old. She lives in the Southwest and has an unusual
problem. 18 months ago, a sore developed on her face, (the size of a large
pimple), but it NEVER healed. It was open for 18 months!
She went to 13 dermatologists during this time, always looking for a cure.
They scanned, did biopsies, blood tests, etc. But, in the end, nobody could
figure out why her face would not heal. What none of them told Betty is that
the cure to her problem lay within the subconscious mind.
She stayed in Seattle for 2 ½ weeks. She came in each week for some
subconscious retraining. She let go of issues concerning the death of her
grandmother, the relationships with her sister and her mother, and other
childhood experiences. At the end of the third week, Betty's sore closed up.
It was an open wound connecting to her past. Betty allowed her subconscious
mind to finally heal her body.
I heard from Betty several weeks after her healing. Not only has her face
healed, but her lifelong digestive and elimination problem has begun to
heal. She no longer feels that her life is getting worse, but improving day
by day!
Not everyone's condition is as obvious as Betty's. Her's was right up front
on her face. It baffled and puzzled conventional medicine. Conditions such
as migraines, Fibromyalgia, back pain, TMJ, constipation, asthma and other
"not so obvious" conditions may be the cause of repressed thought or
experiences.
If you suffer from a chronic and debilitating condition, make sure you are
not holding onto something that might be causing your body harm. If you are,
seek help to access the subconscious mind and let go of the harmful and
toxic effects of "not letting go". It is NEVER too late!
