Jim is a great
employee, the only
problem is, he calls
in sick at least once
a week, sometimes more. He is one of your brightest IT
troubleshooters, but you cannot rely
on him. Jane is one of your very best
help desk coordinators. At least in
the morning she is effective, but she
really loses steam after lunch. She
often has been caught falling asleep
a few times around 3:00 pm. And
then there is Spencer. He has a fast
mind and is great with reports and
numbers but is a chain smoker.
Every time you turn around he
seems to be off on another cigarette
break. He swears he is going to quit
soon, but it never seems to happen.
He is always out smoking his “last”
cigarette.
Sound familiar? Corporations
already have enough challenges
staying ahead of their competition
without the issue of HR rearing its
head. It is not as if you don't
understand or cannot relate to your
employee's personal problems, but
let's face it - you're responsible for
getting the work done! Absenteeism
and stress related loss of
productivity is at an all time high in
American corporations, and your
company's net profits are not
immune.
A recent survey revealed that 60% of
American industry leaders believe
they will be forced to reduce their
staff in the coming year through
outsourcing. Outsourcing further
complicates the issue of productivity
and morale by leaving the remaining
staff feeling anxious, which adds to
their fear of being replaced.
In the example above, imagine that
Jim is really not sick when he calls in,
but that he suffers from chronic
insomnia. Most of the time he calls in
sick, it is because he has had less
than 2 or 3 hours sleep. Let's
suppose that Jane's chronic fatigue
is brought on by her excess weight
and lack of exercise. And Spencer,
well…Spencer is a smoker, and he just
can't stop.
Each of these valuable employees
has one thing in common. They are being
controlled by habits or thought patterns
that are rooted deep in the subconscious
mind. They truly want to change. They
want to improve, but they keep going
back to the same debilitating pattern
because it is deeply engrained in the
subconscious mind where will power
alone has absolutely no influence. So
should you just replace them? Find and
train someone new who can do the job
better, or outsource to eliminate the
problem? Maybe, but I have found a
better way to increase productivity while
helping to improve the quality of life of all
your employees. I call it INsourcing.
Permanent change doesn’t
have to be painful or take a lot
of time to accomplish...
The INsourcing concept relies
on the fact that each of these people need help
in unlocking their true potential by tapping
into their subconscious mind and ordering
up new changes. As a licensed clinical
hypnotherapist with over twenty years of
experience in the field of behavior
modification and personal growth and
human potential, I am uniquely qualified
to explain the powerful connection
between the conscious and subconscious
minds. I have discovered a method for
achieving breakthrough results in our
efforts to make permanent and positive
changes in every area. Permanent
change doesn't have to be painful or take
a lot of time to accomplish if you make the
change at a subconscious level.
In my popular personal growth
CD series entitled “GET YOUR SHIP TOGETHER™,
Be the Captain of Your
Subconscious Mind,” I explain the power
of the subconscious mind by using the
model of permanent change using the
analogy of a captain on a ship. On the
ship the captain is in command of the
crew.
The crew is the subconscious
mind. If the captain gives a command to the
crew, the crew obeys the command
without question. Most of the time we
give our crew mixed signals…we say I
want to lose weight, but follow that up
with an inner dialogue about how
hopeless it all is. By aligning the
conscious and subconscious mind using
self-hypnosis combined with a clear and
concise description of the new
instructions to the crew, permanent
change becomes easy and automatic.
Recently in an American Management
survey it was discovered that 70% of
industry leaders believe that corporate
America has an obligation to help
enhance the quality of their employees
lives. This is achieved through more
prevention and wellness education and
programs, and by changing corporate
attitudes of supporting the person as a
whole, not just as an employee.
Permanent change doesn’t
have to be painful or take a lot
of time to accomplish...
I believe most of us are
not working at our true potential. Through the
use of my proven techniques, removing the
barriers and limitations in an individual's
mind can help him or her realize
resources they never knew existed.
Before you think about Outsourcing,
consider INsourcing. Before you
consider re-staffing, consider
INsourcing, it truly is the wave of the
future in human resources when it
comes to expenditures and employee
training; the successful corporation of
the future will spend at least as much on
improving the quality of life of their
employees as they do job task or job
training.
